Strowbridge Finds New Home

Posted Jul 3, 2008

After an excellent season at Nebraska, Jay R Strowbridge had no lack of suitors once he decided to transfer. Interest from several Sun Belt schools and many other programs gave him many options, but ultimately he was looking for a home.

After weighing his opportunities, Strowbridge finally decided to take his game to Jacksonville State University.

It just felt like home, and you can't put a price on that," said Strowbridge. "And now my family will be able to see me play as well."

Certainly disappointment will be felt at schools like Middle Tennessee State, South Alabama and Western Kentucky, but there is no doubt that the Jacksonville State program will fell nothing but joy with the addition of this talented point guard.
