Reedy Talks Recruiting

Posted Jul 13, 2009

Seth Reedy is an offensive lineman from Piedmont High School in Piedmont, Alabama. The ASWA first team all-state player helped his team to a 10-3 record as a junior and that success has several college programs interested in his services in 2010. Here is an update on his recruitment.

Seth Reedy is currently being looked at by a number of schools such as Troy, Southern Mississippi, Louisiana Tech, Vanderbilt, Middle Tennessee State, Clemson, and Alabama, but does not have a favorite. South Alabama is the only school to offer him a scholarship.

“The coaches are real good and involved at USA, including head coach Joey Jones,” said Reedy. Reedy described Coach Jones as very professional and straight forward. Reedy has visited South Alabama and likes the new program and the facilities.

The 6’4”, 260lb offensive lineman has grown since his freshman year of 6’2”, 215lbs. “Some of the things I would like to work on this upcoming season is to add size and strength, and to also improve my pass protection and run blocking,” says Reedy.

So far the recruiting experience as been a calm one for him, but he expects once the season gets started more scouts will take notice.
