When Jay R Strowbridge, the talented Nebraska point guard, decided to transfer closer to his home in Alabama, suitors lined up. Strowbridge has now narrowed his choices to four candidates and three of them are powers in the Sun Belt Conference.

"Right now I'm visiting Middle Tennessee State, I've been to Jacksonville State, and I have interest from South Alabama and Western Kentucky," said Strowbridge.

At Nebraska Strowbridge was an impact player as true freshman, averaging 3.9 points and 2.1 assists per game with 13 starting assignments. Strowbridge was one of the top defenders for the Cornhuskers and also led them in three point shooting percentage at 46.3%.

Strowbridge is in the process of setting up visits to South Alabama and Western Kentucky, but both schools may not have an available scholarship for him. It is highly unlikely that he would attend either one without a grant-in-aid.

Jay R currently plans on making his decision no later than July 4th. Jagsjungle.com will keep you updated with the latest news as soon as it becomes available.
